We are looking for a motivated Audit Associate 2 to join our growing Audit & Assurance team. This role is ideal for someone with foundational audit experience who is ready to take on more complex tasks, work more independently, and contribute to client engagements with increasing responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
As an Audit Associate 2, you will:
- Perform audit procedures in accordance with ISA and Grant Thornton audit methodologies.
- Assist in planning audit engagements and identifying key risks.
- Execute testing of financial statement areas with minimal supervision.
- Prepare working papers and ensure proper documentation of audit evidence.
- Participate in discussions with clients to understand business processes and identify control weaknesses.
- Support junior team members and help resolve workflow-related questions.
- Communicate audit findings clearly to senior associates and managers.
- Contribute to engagement efficiency and quality by proactively identifying issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
1–2+ years of experience in external audit (preferably at a Big 4 or international audit firm). - Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
- Progress toward ACCA, CPA, or other professional qualification is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
- Good understanding of accounting processes and internal controls.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and audit software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
